Helsinki (Helsingfors in Swedish), capital of Finland with 583,000 inhabitants and 1.3 million in the metropolitan area (incl. Espoo and Vantaa). Besides the large tram system, Helsinki also boasts a METRO line with two branches at its eastern end.
