Poznań - approx. 600,000 inhabitants, in the west of Poland TRAM - operated
by MPK Poznań Tram system includes: Poznański Szybki Tramwaj - Poznań Fast Tram - (PST - popularily known as 'Pestka'), was initially a 6.1 km grade-separated tram line from the city centre to the northern suburbs with 6 stops, opened on 1 March 1997 - (Most Teatralny -) Słowiańska - Osiedle Jana III Sobieskiego; it was later extended south to the railway station. Recent Extensions 11 Aug 2012:
